Description
SAIC, a leading provider of Intelligence Action Officers for the Intelligence Community, is seeking experienced individuals who have served in the intelligence community and can leverage that experience and expertise for current operational activities.
Action Officers are essential, to support our USG customer on some very important national security missions. Action Officers must be effective and efficient communicators able to understand and synthesize fast-breaking incoming information for intelligence community stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy is key, as well as the ability to quickly triage multiple competing requests and priorities each day.
Job Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of the intelligence cycle and ensure operational activities are carried out in accordance with applicable customer guidance
Review incoming reports & triage information
Interface with domestic & overseas personnel and internal & external stakeholders
Brief senior IC leaders on urgent matters
Serve as the primary point-of-contact for tasking’s, often with short and unexpected deadlines
Draft formal & informal correspondence (to include but not limited to cables & memos)
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to resolve differences and achieve one coherent voice
Serve as the primary point-of-contact for tasking’s, often with short and unexpected deadlines
Maintain awareness of multiple issues and lines of effort to ensure senior intelligence community leaders are aware and can respond appropriately
Draft memos, talking points, background papers, and other formal or informal correspondence
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI w/Poly
Minimum of 12 years’ experience with a Bachelor's Degree, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Effective and efficient communicator, and able to motivate busy people to provide timely, quality responses to senior leaders
Excellent oral and written communication skills, mastery of their assigned portfolio
Demonstrated experience with the IC, USG, and USMIL performing work similar in scope
Relevant experience with Sponsor culture and operational environment
Familiarity with all aspects of the intelligence cycle, including tradecraft and risk analysis
Familiarity with and ability to work collaboratively across mission centers and organizational functional boundaries
Ability to quickly adapt and respond to challenging situations
Occasional domestic or overseas travel may be available or required for this position
Sponsor relevant cable writing and tools/database experience
At least 12 years tradecraft-related work experience
Certification in Sponsor basic tradecraft courses
Desired Qualifications:
Previous foreign overseas field experience, PCS tour or DY experience of comparable duration, providing support to intelligence collection operations
CONUS or OCONUS overseas tours & TDY experience
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
