Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced Senior Program Security Officer to join a team of qualified and diverse security professionals in Reston, VA. The candidate shall respond quickly and effectively to security needs and concerns and will provide program security support to the Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure compliance with NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, federal security regulations and information security requirements
Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment
Develop, write and review security documentation and provide guidance and assistance for all security levels including collateral and SCI information
Investigate and manage security incidents and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
Conduct SCI Indoctrination briefings and educational training for new and current employees and coordinate security debriefings as necessary
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Minimum of 16 years of relevant experience
Experience providing operational security and program protection planning guidance
Experience providing personnel security guidance in accordance with security regulations
Experience supporting compartmented programs
Experience providing physical security guidance in accordance with applicable security regulations
Working knowledge of the NISPOM, DCIDS, ICDs, and Executive Orders, to ensure security compliance
Previous security experience with the Intelligence Community
Proficient with standard Microsoft Office products
DESIRED:
Knowledge of the various security disciplines such as physical security, personnel security, information system security and industrial security to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs
COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC's vaccination policy.
