  • Creates and tracks funding documents, external agency funding tool, and other budget information as requested.
  • Tracks the commitment, obligation and expenditure of funds throughout the life cycle of an acquisition using customer execution tools and practices.
  • Generates monthly budget execution reviews, provide financial documentation to capture the current and future financial status to a government program manager or other government official.
  • Assists in the development and coordination of annual budgets allocated to each group and/or program. 
  • Supports the development and execution of government business processes and establish customer standards for budgetary reviews. 
  • Develops and maintain internal controls to monitor the commitment/obligations throughout the appropriation lifecycle.  
  • Analyzes cost performance reports and contract financial status reports.
  • Perform project management and monitoring of project schedules and task performance progress ensuring all cost, schedule and technical deliverables are being meet
  • Compiles technical, financial, and other project data using various sources for inclusion in reports, studies, or presentation materials
  • Knowledge of and experience with the DOD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System.
  • Familiarity with the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred
