Lead Logistics Clerk

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Under minimal supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies.
  • Must be familiar with the Managing and Compliance Requirements associated with Government & Customer owned units being returned for induction.
  • Must be very proficient in working resolutions to Product Receipts & Inductions and the associated SAP Transaction Codes relating to Receipts, Storage, Pulls, and Issuance.
  • Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing Repair & Overhaul Parts.
  • Maintains related records associated with receipts, movements and Issuance of Repair Units.
  • Inducts Repair & Overall units, stores in accordance to distribution requirements upon arrival.
  • Inspects products for quality and quantity upon receipt to ensure adherence to Shipping and Physical conditions.
  • Works to meet schedules and support requirements to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Interfaces with internal Shipping/Courier Services to support the ensure shipment of goods on promised dates.
  • Resolves most questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher level of support.
  • Works within broad Program, Department, and Section guidelines and policies that impact a range of customer, operational, project and service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Takes ownership for the accuracy of the prepared and presented information with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work proactively in a Team Environment.
  • Follow KBR Performance Excellence (KPEX) requirements, including the support of Voice of the Customer solicitations and follow-up on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Must adhere to KBRs Zero Harm Safety Measures of Total Safety Technical Instructions (TSTI) for Safety Adherence of Operational and Equipment usage.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent and typically 6 years of directly related work experience
  • Must be Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products, e.g.. Word, Excel and Power Point
  • SAP and Asset Tracking Database Knowledge is a Plus.
  • Six Sigma, Lean and/or Green Belt Certification preferred
  • Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
