Data Analyst Supervisor

Supervises the day-to-day report processing and data analysis of the Enterprise Resource Planning system (Oracle/GCSS-MC). Oversee the basic ERP operations, system requirements, and data requirements. Provides Data Analysis to the Supply Chain Management section in direct support of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP). Determines the type and sequence of system/database work assigned based on priority and maintains close liaison with technical and support personnel. Coordinates operational and administrative activities related to the development of Share Point sites, Access databases, and Oracle reports. Inspects work performed to ensure compliance with established procedures and time schedules. Provide recommendations for improvements in operational processes. Provides work assignments and schedules. Ensures plans, policies, and procedures are implemented and followed. Ensures personnel has appropriate training. Provides direction and discipline to employees and is responsible for the evaluation of personnel performance and salary actions. Ensures compliance with administrative and government regulations. Performs all other duties as assigned.

To be considered for this role applicant must possess a high level of proficiency in development and maintaining multi-dimensional databases, Microsoft Access, SQL, VBA Tools, and (database) macro development


• BA/BS degree with a major study in data analytics, system engineering, supply chain management, or related field.

• In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credit, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.

• Five (5) years of progressive work experience in a data analytics operations support environment.

• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

• Must be a US Citizen. Proof required.

• Strong working knowledge of Oracle based programs, database development, Share Point software, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position
