Project / Admin Support

As a Contract and Project Assistant for KBR’s Government Solutions business you will support the client as follows:

  • Assist client leadership in the Support Office Foreign Military Sales (SOFMS) System Analysis Program-Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP-ERP) project transition.
  • Support SOFMS Information System and Training Contracts, including development requirements and divestment of functionality due to SAP-ERP transition.
  • Administer documentation updates as a result of SAP-ERP transition and legacy system functional changes.

This will include the following:

SAP-ERP FMS Transition Assistance

  • Assist with developing and managing a risk register, including the client’s SharePoint site and Predict! entry as required.
  • Assist with the Transition Activity Planning Tool task management.
  • Assist with Use Case development for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist with role mapping, providing updates as required.
  • Assist with the Foreign Military Sales divested system use case.
  • General project management tasks.

FMS Contract Assistance

  • Assist with external training contracts - training facility sourcing, catering and accommodation as required, liaising with trainers and coordinating guest presenters. Answering general queries regarding training.
  • Assist with legacy system contract support with Chief Information Officer Group, developing holistic IT capability support to address system longevity, systems support as a capability and end-of life considerations.

FMS Procedural Assistance

  • Identify the procedural documents that require update as a result of SAP-ERP and other FMS ICT changes.
  • Develop an update plan.
  • Coordinate Subject Matter Expertise (SME) user inputs.
  • Complete updates as required to Work Instructions, Electronic Supply Chain Manual (ESCM), Defence Logistics Manual (DEFLOGMAN).
  • Coordinate release through client publications and SharePoint site.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Defence project support, particularly transactional information management systems.
  • Experience in Defence contract support.
  • Understanding of FMS procedures.
  • Understanding of MILIS and other Defence systems.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts, to readily understand FMS processes.

This role requires a Baseline security clearance and is located in Melbourne CBD, VIC.
