Job Summary

US AECOM Industrial Maintenance, Inc. is looking for a Night Shift Mechanical Superintendent for our Maintenance division. This position will be located in Monaca, PA on the Shell Cracker Plant Facility. This is a temporary position to work on the ECU Start Up.

Job Summary :

  • Be responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.

  • Be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities or may coordinate with client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned areas of operations.

  • Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality and safety standards.

  • Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinate effort.

  • Supervises staff personnel and craft employees as required. Supervise a staff of General Foreman, Foreman and other craft workers.

  • Other duties as assigned by client and project management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Engineering degree in discipline related to Mechanical construction.

  • 6 years’ experience knowledge of Mechanical construction or maintenance, design, and cost management as a Superintendent in an industrial environment .

  • Experience with maintenance contracts.

  • Able to work Night Shift.

  • Experience in the oil & gas, industrial, chemical, or power industries.

  • Must be willing to be onsite at Client location.

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident is required.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

  • Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor and outdoor environments with uneven terrain. Variable environmental conditions include heat, dusts, noise, and chemicals.

  • Position will include conducting field work and wearing associated personal protective equipment, including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, and hearing protection.

  • No relocation assistance and/or Per Diem.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the mechanical field.

  • Experience in the above listed field as a manager or superintendent.

  • Experience with start-up and commissioning activities with-in the oil & gas, industrial, chemical or power industries

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Experience with tanks, vessels, furnaces and boilers preferred
