AECOM is seeking an Architectural Designer to be based in Chicago, IL

Develops design renderings, plans and diagrams using Enscape, Sketchup Pro, Adobe Creative Suites and other related graphic software.
Prepare design and contract drawings using Revit.
Be able to work independently to develop complete set of construction drawings for typical tenant improvement projects.
Prioritize and multi-task as role will be responsible for multiple simultaneous projects.
Prepare alternative design solutions, contract documents and specifications
Develop solutions to a wide range of difficult technical problems
Support project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants
Prepare initial lighting layouts, as well as power/communication plans for engineering coordination.
Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
Bachelor's degree in architecture plus minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
Experience working on projects in the United States with strong understanding of code requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
