Senior Order Management Analyst - Military veterans preferred

The Synopsys Finance Operations team is looking for an Order Management Analyst to help deliver customer orders, on time, with 100% accuracy every time. You will help gain and improve efficiencies through automation, standardization, and process improvements. You will be dedicated to the excellence and accuracy of the order processing procedure. This position has the authority to accept the order, binding the corporation legally to fulfill against the customer order, which requires a complex understanding of corporate polices and processes, driving resolution on open issues; current order notes, shipment dates and the delivery of orders in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities
Provides timely order acceptance and maintain an accurate backlog.
Responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer contracts to ascertain the level of compliance to corporate policies.
Consults and advises on system approaches to entering the order into SAP
Works closely with the Revenue Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Sales, Credit, Distribution, Materials Management, and IT support teams
Makes recommendations to the Worldwide Order management team.
Participates in various corporate initiatives and projects
Continually documents, updates and re-evaluates processes and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the business operations to support increased growth and deal complexity.
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve complex issues.
Follows standard practices and specific, outlined, and detailed procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Builds routine working relationships internally.
Can act as supervisor/manager backup and play a dynamic role in quarter/year-end close, including but not limited to: coordination of workload distribution, system trouble-shooting.

Job Requirements
Advanced knowledge of SAP and order acceptance policies.
Excellent use of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, and able to perform license key cutting function.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
Minimum 3-5 years of job-related experience. Contract review experience a plus.
