ManTech is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support our operations in Norfolk, VA.

  • Job Summary
    • Responsible for the ongoing assessment, design, development and implementation of efficiencies and improvement of standard processes and new procedures by use of advanced ServiceNow functionality, including: client and server side scripting, UI policies, automated testing framework, HTML/CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, Jelly Scripting, MID server setup, ACLs, Orchestration, and APIs.
    • Initiates, facilitates, and leads meetings with end-user and internal staff members. Acts as user liaison between professional departments and ServiceNow Family; leads others to adhere to established industry best practices, standards, and quality.
    • Thorough understanding of ITIL principles
    • Design, develop and implement ServiceNow integrated testing and training
    • Transform business and technical requirements into implementation plans and develop technical specifications
    • Deliver efficiencies and improvements of standard processes and new procedures
    • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues
    • Works closely with the ServiceNow Architect to ensure the solution is technically feasible and to identify areas to reduce implementation efforts
    • Plays an active role in configuring the solution and supporting the technical team for any custom development required
    • May also assist and sometimes lead test plan development and execution


  • Minimum 4 years of ServiceNow ITBM (APM / PPM) development experience required
  • Past success with programming expertise in Java, JavaScript or other similar functional programming language
  • Proven progressive project management experience working independently as well as in a team situation meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and managing multiple priorities
  • Experience working with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, and interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Proven familiarity with relational databases
  • Experience planning and organizing day-to-day activities
  • Demonstrated use of effective communication and interpersonal relations to achieve established goals
  • Experience in Administration and technical support for ITSM, and ITBM:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Demand Management
    • Knowledge Management           
    • Service Catalog/Service Request Management


  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • ITIL certification preferred
  • ServiceNow Administrator certification required
  • Certified in ITBM Required

Additional Requirements

  • SEC+ certification or equivalent
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • Local to Gov’t site preferred, but not required
