SAIC has an immediate need for a CyberSecurity Engineer to support the SAIC Cyber Matrix located in Huntsville, Alabama.

NOTE:  This is a 75% telework opportunity with weekly onsite support to Huntsville, Alabama for meeting/lab work/customer needs.

The Cyber Matrix supports multiple US Government and internal cybersecurity efforts, including RMF packages, security engineering, and advising on solutions for secure design and implementation of tactical systems.  The Cyber matrix offers interesting and diverse work where the engineer will meet with customer groups and engineers from multiple disciplines to design and develop appropriate solutions for unique tactical, embedded, and enterprise systems.

Job Duties:

  • Define, interpret, and adjudicate security controls in support of software development efforts.
  • Create and collect documentation and artifacts in support of security assessments and reviews.
  • Provide support in software, hardware, and weapons systems development to ensure controls are properly met.
  • Conduct peer reviews of software for use in embedded systems.
  • Enter information into eMASS.


Required Education:

  • Bachelors and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

Required Skills:

  • Experience with eMASS, networked information systems, RFM, Linux and Windows troubleshooting
  • Some experience with embedded tactical components and systems engineering tools (DOORS and Magic Draw)
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Suite

Required Clearance:

  • Must be have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Required Certification:

  • IAT II minimum certification (CISSP preferred)
