ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Customer Application Lead in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project

  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications

  • Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications

  • Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components

  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented

  • Progression to this level is restricted on the basis of business requirements

  • Is a company subject matter expert in their particular discipline

  • Anticipates internal and or external business issues and recommends best practices

  • Solves unique and complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.  

  • Anticipates business, vendor and/or regulatory changes; recommends product, process, or service improvements 

  • Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution

  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions

  • Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives by setting the direction and allocating resources; works within division objectives

  • Communicates complex concepts, anticipates potential objections, and persuades senior executives to adopt a different point of view

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java, Perl, Python, and/or Ruby.

Minimum Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree; OR Associate's Degree and 2 years' Experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree; OR High School and 4 years' experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

  • 9 years' experience desired / 4 years' experience credit allowed for PhD degree / 2 years' experience credit allowed for Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle, MS SQL or other database systems.  

  • Experience with Cognos, TM1, Java, Perl, Python, Ruby, Tomcat, Weblogic, Apache Http Server, Tuxedo, Jenkins, Docker, Git, Certent DCM.

  •  Experience working within cloud environments (AWS).  

  •  Experience with Agile development environments.  

  • Experience with developing financial systems.  

  • Security Plus certification or equivalent.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
