Level of experience/Education:

  • United States citizen and an active secret clearance
  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an Computer Science, engineering, or technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience is preferred


    ManTech is seeking to hire a skilled Software Developer to help with the development of our current projects. Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new functional requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.

    Additionally, your secondary job will be data analysis of the AEGIS Combat System and evaluating system functionality. Many of the software tools developed will be used to support data analysis.  You will also be involved in system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software, system design, and software innovations to improve test and evaluation approaches.

    Other tasking includes testing combat system software at land-based test facilities or aboard ships in-port and/or at-sea.

    The primary work location is Dahlgren, VA, but travel is required for many tasks associated with System Safety support. Travel is required for both inside the United States (local and distant) and abroad.

  • Clearance: Secret
