ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission- oriented Software Application Tester in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer. Positions within this large intelligence community program will cover the full life-cycle of development, enhancements and maintenance of a suite of critical customer applications and infrastructure across the development, test/staging, and production environments.  The program offers many opportunities for career growth and variety from technical experiences to team lead and management opportunities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed

• Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates

• Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions

• Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs Requires in-depth knowledge and experience

• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services

• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

• Works independently, receives minimal guidance

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

• Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas

• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market

Basic Qualifications:

• Experienced Software Tester.  

• Experience working within cloud environments (AWS).  

• Experience with testing financial systems.

• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.

• Experience with automated test systems such as Selenium.

Minimum Education Required:

·         Bachelor's Degree; OR Associate's Degree and 2 years' experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree; OR High School and 4 years' experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

· 4 years' experience desired / 4 years' experience credit allowed for PhD degree / 2 years' experience credit allowed for Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Security Plus certification or equivalent.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
