ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission- oriented System Administrator Team Lead in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer. Positions within this large intelligence community program will cover the full life-cycle of development, enhancements and maintenance of a suite of critical customer applications and infrastructure across the development, test/staging, and production environments.  The program offers many opportunities for career growth and variety from technical experiences to team lead and management opportunities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain data files and control procedures for a system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe

• Maintain system security and data integrity

• Assign passwords and monitor use of resources, back up files as required and work with management to define requests for information Recognized as an expert within the company

• Anticipates internal and or external business challenges, vendor and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements

• Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business

• Progression to this level is restricted on the basis of business requirements

• Is a company subject matter expert in their particular discipline

• Anticipates business, vendor and/or regulatory changes; recommends product, process, or service improvements

• Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with administering Windows and Linux operating systems.   Security Plus certification or equivalent.

Minimum Education Required:

·         Bachelor's Degree; OR Associate's Degree and 2 years' experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree; OR High School and 4 years' experience is acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

· 9 years' experience desired / 4 years' experience credit allowed for PhD degree / 2 years' experience credit allowed for Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS - C2S), including VPC configurations. 

• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Tomcat, Tuxedo, Weblogic, Git, Apache Http Server, Momentum (or other ERP system), Cognos, Certent DCM. 

• Experience with managing PKI infrastructure. 

Security Clearance Requirements:

Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
