ManTech is seeking a mid-level All Source Analyst to support the Intelligence Community (IC) in Quantico, VA to provide the Office of Counterintelligence (OCI) support protecting the Department of Defense (DoD) from foreign, insider or other nefarious entities.  The All-Source Analyst will research, review, edit, plan, prepare, integrate & publish complex all-source studies, papers, briefings & assessments in coordination with DIA elements and IC components; and conduct extensive research & analysis of functional, or regional, activities and recommend analytic priorities. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete counterintelligence (Cl) studies, plans, network/link analysis & products for the IC, ensuring compliance with finished intelligence standards.

  • Coordinate, monitor and integrate intelligence ensuring timely, comprehensive, and accurate responses.

  • Identify intelligence gaps & collection requirements to fill those gaps; evaluate resulting intelligence collected & determine analytic approaches to incorporate collected data into all source production.

  • Identify trends; propose new / revised projects for decision-makers, collectors, operators, and/or CI agents to new developments.

  • Use logic when evaluating & synthesizing multiple sources of information.

  • Defend analytic judgements with sound, logical conclusions; adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments.

  • Produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials.

  • Communicate complex issues (verbally and non-verbally).

  • Develop structured research including obtaining, evaluating, organizing & maintaining information within security and data protocols.

  • Use assumptions & theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments and mitigate surprise.

  • Communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated,  and/ or technically advanced.

  • Structure analysis based on trends in reporting & a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.

  • Lead teams in researching multifaceted, critical problems; provide guidance in selecting, designing & applying analytic methodologies.

  • Use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree and four (4) years of relevant work experience or eight (8) years of experience without a degree.

  • Knowledge of DoD processes (i.e., apply IC & DoD classification guidelines/procedures), terminology & intelligence standards.

  • Ability to communicate in a concise & organized manner; possess strong grammar skills.

  • Ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.

  • Ability to understand & interpret analysis (meaning; importance; and implication).

  • Experience developing Cl work products for the IC, national and international intelligence community.

  • Knowledge using complex analytic methodologies (i.e., structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches) to examine biases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience publishing work products such as Defense Intelligence Digest (DID) articles/notes, Defense Intelligence Shorts, Response Memos, Defense Intelligence tabloids or graphics, and briefings.

  • Familiarity with Director of National Intelligence (DNI) policies.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI and be willing and able to pass a polygraph assessment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Frequently communicates w/co-workers, management & customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
