ManTech’s Air Force and Space Division is recruiting highly talented candidates to support a contract that provides support to the United States Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Launch Systems Enterprise Directorate’s –?National Security Space Launch (NSSL)?program.? 
We assist the Air Force by supporting a multitude of areas, including Systems Engineering & Integration, Acquisition & Program Management Support, Mission Integration Management, System Safety & Environmental Engineering, Systems Security & Information Assurance, Launch Schedule and Risk Management, Certification of New Entrant Launch Vehicles.?? 

ManTech is seeking a talented Data/Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in execution of an effective and comprehensive Data/Configuration Management to support Digital Engineering efforts for the Air Force Launch Enterprise at the Los Angeles Air Force base in El Segundo, California. 


  • Define governance process, create plans and implement baseline control of ManTech digital engineering data artifacts, model configuration, with association to evaluation reporting 

  • Evaluates and selects data/configuration management tools and standards 

  • Defines and documents the ontology of a model based system and taxonomy of data, environment and models to implement consistent categorization. 

  • Interface to corporate IT/Cloud personnel to coordinate/administer/configure/implement cloud configuration changes to AWSGovCloud and external interfaces 

  • Prepares data/configuration management plans and procedures 

  • Gather metrics and execute status accounting 

  • Operates and manages program support to ensure continued availability and operation 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science or in a related STEM discipline 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical/Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science in relevant fields of data/system/configuration control and data/model/system/configuration management 

  • Active Top Secret clearance SCI eligible 

  • Proficiency with AWSGovCloud, MS Office products to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Exposure to digital tools like Cameo, Sparx, TeamWorkCenter, ModelCenter and Siemens Product Lifecycle Management is desired. 

  • Association with INCOSE configuration management working group is desired. 

  • Experience with Air Force requirements for data/configuration management desired. 

Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
