Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Assurance Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) warfighting capabilities. These capabilities are in alignment with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Army priorities to meet the needs of increasingly complex systems requirements and technologies. The services to be rendered by the Contractor encompass a wide variety of program support for all elements of the acquisition cycle and the subsequent support of fielded systems including broad range of technical disciplines ranging from requirements and operational analyses through deployment and support of systems in the field. These include development of emerging concepts, advanced research and prototyping, identification of the state-of-the-art technologies, performing analysis of alternatives, technology insertion/exploitation, integration of the possible capabilities and services to support the proof-of-concepts, new pilot efforts, existing programs, and/or fielded systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Minimum 10 years of experience in:

  • Working on Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification and Accreditation Testing and Validation process of applications software and computer systems for cloud platforms (e.g. AWS and Azure);
  • Performing technical work in RMF-compliant Information Assurance, including analyzing and solving Information Assurance (IA)-related technical problems;
  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing Information System (IS) security and policies;
  • Performing vulnerability/risk analyses of systems using expertise in relevant information systems security, systems and network administration. Experience with Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, network monitoring, syslog, encryptors, and other cybersecurity tool families. Familiar with DoD network security practices and Security Technical Implementation Guides (stigs). Understanding of encryption technologies including Hardware Security Modules (hsms).
  • Certs: DoD 8570.01-M C3.1 to C35 and C4.1 to C4.5. Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level III with minimum 10 years-experience and Information Assurance Management (IAM) level III with minimum 10 years-experience in the cloud RMF process.

  • TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
