Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Counter-Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Counterintelligence Analyst will provide expert level intelligence assessments derived from multiple sources to detect, identify, and monitor foreign intelligence entities (FIE) attempting to collect against Program personnel, activities, or interest. 

  • The CI Analyst will monitor intelligence reporting and emerging FIE tactics; conduct CI travel briefings and debriefings; support CI investigations; assist in strategic and tactical analysis of a broad spectrum of threats facing the program; communicate complex issues and potential risks to senior decision-makers; perform threat analysis, forecasts, alerts, and recommend effective countermeasure

Basic Qualifications:

  • Shall have 7 or more years of experience conducting counterintelligence analysis and/or operations within the Department of Defense (DoD) and /or Intelligence Community (IC).

  • Must have expert level knowledge of CI tradecraft, analytic standards, integrity, and methodology.

  • Shall have 5 to 7 years of experience assimilating, evaluating, and interpreting all-source information concerning foreign intelligence threats against US personnel, programs, information systems, and/or facilities.

  • Shall have experience creating threat assessments and other written intelligence products to inform decision-making.

  • Must be able to brief and/or de-brief program personnel on CI threats and emerging tradecraft before and after international travel.

  • Shall maintain a basic knowledge of emerging technologies, FIE cyber capabilities, and associated vulnerabilities.

  • Experience working closely with DoD CI and law enforcement (LE) entities to support investigations and monitor emerging threats.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous IC, DoD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.

  • Shall have a working knowledge of the DoD Antiterrorism/Force Protection and OPSEC processes.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Cyber and Supply chain risk management (SCRM) experience desired

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI

  • Must be open for CI Poly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
