ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in Springfield, VA.  Candidate will utilize a Quality Management Systems (QMS), an enterprise level process, driven by contractor senior leadership involvement, to support the delivery of high-quality products and services by ensuring that all aspects of quality are considered and acted upon.  Candidate will provide management and oversight of contract efforts including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide input to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
  • Monitor services provided to determine if Service Level Agreements and performance levels are being adhered to
  • Recommend changes to services and processes to improve performance
  • Determine if current methods / techniques result in meeting reliability, maintainability, and availability standards/levels
  • Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for quality operating methods and procedures used across the program
  • Develop and implement quality control methodologies for compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures at an enterprise level
  • Develop and define quality metrics and scoring parameters and determines quality control resources
  • Conduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout development life cycle
  • Collaborate with technical leads and team members
  • Minimal local travel may be required between customer site (Washington, DC) and contractor site (Springfield, VA)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of relevant experience
  • Possess IAT Level II certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile Scrum Development methodologies with a cross-functional team approach
  • QASP experience
  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) experience

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current TS/SCI clearance (or active TS with SCI eligibility) with a Polygraph, or ability to obtain a Polygraph before starting employment

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
