SAIC is seeking a Spacecraft Anomaly Resolution Engineer to join our Roxborough Park, CO based team.  The position provides direct support to the local government customer on spacecraft procurement, production, integration, test, launch, on-orbit test, and on-orbit anomaly resolution. 

-        Serve on-call to resolve spacecraft anomalies, minimize loss of operations time, and safely return the spacecraft to operations

-     Become familiar with historical anomalies and identify current anomalies as either pre-occurring or be able to leverage any relevant previous anomaly signatures or corrective actions into solutions to anomalies.

-        Evaluate pros, cons, and risks of alternative courses of action across all spacecraft subsystems and provide clear explanations to the customer who may have limited experience.

-         Advise the customer on contract actions to include requirements development, Statement of Work generation, proposal evaluation, BOE validity, and award fee recommendations.

-         Assist in the development of launch rehearsals and serve on the Initial Acquisition and On-Orbit Test team.

-         Occasional travel in the US about five times a year for about 3 days per trip.  24/7 rotating on-call with a team of about 5 people.



-          Engineering/science degree or significant applicable experience with satellite operations

-          Minimum of 9 years of experience in spacecraft production, launch, or flight operations

-          Flexible self-starter with good communication skills

-          Excellent computer skills

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
