DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
â?¢Load and unload material on trucks or other conveyances.
â?¢Tracks all incoming HAZMAT from cradle to grave.
â?¢Arranges storage facilities and segregation by type of class within fire and safety protection to personnel.
â?¢Ensure that all incoming HAZMAT are properly accounted process in N-ERP, barcoded and labeled prior to issuance and delivery to customers.
â?¢Provides assistance to customers in obtaining MSDS/SDS and other documents as necessary.
â?¢Conducts routing inspection for all containers to prevent deterioration cause by contamination of cold, light, heat and moistures.
â?¢Performs weekly/monthly HAZMAT Locker Inspection for all work centers that are established in CHRIMP and reports all non-conformances to the Supply Manager and recommends corrective actions to resolve all discrepancies.
â?¢Liaise with Environmental personnel for disposal of empty containers and expired HAZMAT.
â?¢Implement and administer shelf-life program and conduct inventories as necessary.
â?¢Incumbent is responsible for the safeguarding of materials in storage/warehouse.
â?¢Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
â?¢Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to professionally and tactfully convey information to individuals and clients.
â?¢Proven ability to organize, prioritize and follow-through to completion on multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities.
â?¢Must be contract oriented and computer literate in Microsoft Office software.
â?¢Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
â?¢Must have a valid and be able to obtain MHE license up to 10k and vehicle license up to 10 tons of stake truck.
â?¢Knowledge of HAZMAT compatibility and Segregation Procedures.
â?¢Must be U.S. Citizen and Secret Clearance.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAININGS
â?¢Training or experience in the management of environmental compliance, solid waste, water production, wastewater treatment, water sampling and analyses, hazardous materials and hazardous waste processes is preferable.
â?¢Successful completion of HM/HW training requirements:
â?¢80-Hours Training on Transportation of Hazardous Material
â?¢Overseas Hazardous Waste Facility Operator
â?¢Overseas Hazardous Waste Generator
â?¢Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER),
â?¢Hazardous Substance Incident Response Management (HSIRM)
â?¢Hazardous Communication (HAZCOM)
â?¢Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or Chemistry based on a four-year course of study from a U.S. or U.K. accredited college or university.
â?¢Specialized and/or three (3) years' experience in the same field may be substituted for education requirement.
â?¢Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations of HAZMAT/HAZMIN facility. Access to N-ERP with one year of N-ERP experience minimum.
