Core Duties:

The MIP Associate is responsible for cross-functional support of production and packaging of marijuana infused products. The MIP Associate completes tasks assigned by the MIP Manager, such as prepping, cleaning, cooking, labeling, wrapping and operating basic production and packaging machinery. The MIP Associate shall produce and package marijuana infused products in accordance with the State and standards set by the company.

Principal Responsibilities:

The MIP Associate is responsible and accountable for the operation of the MIP production process while ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely production of products. The MIP Associate's duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

â?¢ Help develop and execute the process of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
â?¢ Maintain and control finished goods, raw materials, and MIP Product inventories.
â?¢ Responsible for inventory, recordkeeping, quality of product at all times, and maintaining inventory via seed to sale tracking.
â?¢ Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all product weights
â?¢ Provide supervision and leadership to the MIP Kitchen regarding precise infusion, production schedules, associated testing, continuously improve quality, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
â?¢ Manages employees by establishing performance goals, allocating resources and assessing performance
â?¢ Responsible for mentoring and leading junior production staff through critique of their work to maintain consistent quality and exemplary work
â?¢ Perform some administrative tasks, such as documenting all machine maintenance, logging test results, printing labels, and auditing products and supplies.
â?¢ Lead the creation and production of large batches of Cannabis Edibles, Topicals, and Tinctures
â?¢ Prepare and clean workspaces, equipment, and materials daily.
â?¢ Prepare samples to be sent to lab.
â?¢ Log recipes.
â?¢ Package finished products.
â?¢ Other duties as assigned.

Essential Work Experience and Qualifications:

â?¢ Culinary degree is preferred, but not mandatory for consideration. Commensurate experience within the F&B industry will be considered.
â?¢ Experience in the cannabis industry preferred but not mandatory
â?¢ 3-5 years of experience in a baker/confectionery production-oriented role
â?¢ Must be qualified to handle the rigorous physical demands of a commercial kitchen
â?¢ Ability to work on own with minimal direction and solve problems
â?¢ Accountability, honesty, and integrity
â?¢ Openness to change and ideas
â?¢ Adherence to policies and procedures
â?¢ Ability to use and manage METRC; experience using METRC preferred
â?¢ Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
â?¢ Must be at least 21 years of age
â?¢ Must pass CORI background checks
â?¢ Must be able to meet all shift requirements with regularity, predictability and consistency

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

â?¢ Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting
â?¢ Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones
â?¢ Ability to observe and assess material that deviates from established company standards
â?¢ Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions
â?¢ Requires bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
