Gryphon Technologies is looking for a highly qualified Application Developer to support application migration, development and technical support for internal and external applications. Plans for, migrates, and modernizes applications for the cloud. Provides technical consultation in migration, new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems. Prepares functional specifications from which programs are written and designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs. Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of application enhancements. Plans, schedules and conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action as required. Prepares technical user guides.   You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and pro-actively oversee a team that keeps customers’ cloud environments operationally healthy. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of application development experience - 2+ years of experience migrating application to the commercial cloud - HTML, C++,C#, JavaScript, Java, .NET, PHP, and other relevant application coding languages - Proven ability to work with DevSecOps with an Agile environment - Ability to create and test applications - Aptitude to troubleshoot, maintain, and update applications - Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Meets/exceeds Gryphon’s leadership principles requirements for this role - Meets/exceeds Gryphon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role 7+ years of technical engineering experience - Experience in Informational Technology operations - Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s) Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment Please note many of our positions require the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
