This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP, Safety and Classic Packaging procedures and policies. We are a growing manufacturer of high-quality flexible packaging. As a result of our continued growth, we need a technician with experience in installation, maintenance and repair of automation and controls systems and industrial equipment. Knowledge of PLCs, automation/controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment is essential.

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to the following:
Install, test, calibrate, repair, and modify various types of electrical/electronic controls for high speed flexible package manufacturing, film processing and flexible manufacturing equipment.
Properly install and tension belt and chain driven equipment.
Troubleshoot variable frequency, DC motor drive systems, servos, and steppers.
Utilize time for machine repairs and PMs.
Use common electrical diagnostic equipment.
Troubleshoot to determine root cause of equipment failure and perform corrective maintenance accordingly.
Effectively communicate with peers and management.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Provide your own tools and tool box.
Advise supervisor of any needs or suggestions.
Comply with all safety requirements, including wearing of PPE.
Perform any other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty accurately and in time to meet company's target deadlines. The requirements listed are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Knowledge of electrical devices and their use in machines.
Advanced trouble shooting skills with the ability to repair complex problems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Advanced soldering skills.
Above average analytical, decision making, problem solving and research skills.
Advanced knowledge of electronic test equipment (i.e. Amp Clamp, VOM).

Hours: 12 hours rotation shift 7pm-7am
