TRAINING PAY RATE: $28.00
After training & job certification, PAY RATE: $35.06
3 weeks paid vacation, 12 paid holidays, and 40 hours paid Personal Days from DAY ONE (prorated)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities of this role, Manufacturing Technician - Heavy Equipment are to:
Attain internal certification to operate pot carriers, trucks, and loaders;
Work as scheduled to operate pot carriers, trucks, and loaders;
Work as scheduled to assist with maintenance work throughout the plant;
Assist with shutdown work when scheduled to do so;
Understand and implement Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) Compliance requirements relevant to this position to ensure personal safety and the protection of the environment;
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
WHO YOU ARE:
Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent;
At least three years of experience in industrial operations and or mechanical and/or electrical maintenance;
Able to lift 50 lbs up to a height of 3 ft;
Require stooping, standing, and walking;
Possess good hand and eye coordination and depth perception;
Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts;
Successfully pass depth perception and peripheral vision tests;
Successfully pass a drug screen test and physical.
