A Senior Marketing Campaign Analyst, will have a variety of responsibilities associated with their job, including assisting the company with building and maintaining customer loyalty, using consumer relationship management software to analyze customer data, making recommendations regarding sales initiatives, recommending marketing techniques, advancing customer service initiatives, analyzing data collected by companies regarding their customers, spotting trends within data, assessing responses to various campaigns within the company, finding correlations within the data, monitoring responses from customers, analyzing customers’ behaviors on websites to tailor individual offers, correlating purchase history with exposure to campaigns, creating reports for colleagues, recommending direct marketing techniques, and consulting about customer outreach. This position requires a person who is extremely analytical and intuitive. Expert communication skills are imperative. A Senior CRM Analyst should also be extremely proficient with analytical and technical software, as well as database user interface and various software necessary for the job.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Marketing Campaign Analyst, you will be responsible for executing all aspects of customer data preparation to enable catalog binderies and to deliver catalogs to our customers. This includes the systems, data and processes that support catalog delivery as well as the creation of bindery instructions and auditing of the event itself ensuring the right customers receive the correct offer. Collaborate with other members of direct marketing and external service bureaus on upstream (customer selection) and downstream (catalog binding, delivery, and database load) activities. You will also be responsible for managing, facilitating, and executing the process used to select customers to receive catalogs and other mailings. You will also oversee pre-production testing and scheduling with minimal on-call duties. Beyond the tasks required for scoring and selection, a Marketing Campaign Analyst also works on a variety of ad hoc requests and projects to support Direct Marketing initiatives and the testing and implementation of software version upgrades. Design and execute customer selection campaigns in CRM software Create production plans and communicate to internal and external cross-functional teams Build mail files and send to binderies for processing
  • Strategize, execute, and optimize a data-driven demand generation campaign strategy
  • Responsible for developing and deploying integrated marketing campaigns, including crafting strategy, aligning internal teams, developing audience segments, building email nurtures, owning top funnel virtual events, and measuring results
  • Apply an experimentation mindset to marketing campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimize.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to build prescriptive persona-based buyer journeys as the foundation for campaign strategy
  • Work with marketers across our team and in our company to ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of multi-channel campaigns
  • Plan seamless integration of competitive campaigns and alliance partner campaigns within the prescriptive journeys and overall segment campaign plans
  • Gain anecdotal feedback, and generate ideas for campaign optimizations
  • Provide ongoing reporting, campaign insights

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience in promotions, marketing, retail, analytics, pricing, consumer packaged goods, insights, vendor collaboration, consumer research, inventory, category management and/or business analysis OR High school / GED and at least 4 years of experience in promotions, marketing, retail, analytics, pricing, consumer packaged goods, insights, vendor collaboration, consumer research, inventory, category management and/or business analysis.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in the Walgreens' MARP program OR a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in promotions, marketing, retail, analytics, pricing, consumer packaged goods, insights, vendor collaboration, consumer research, inventory, category management and/or business analysis OR High school / GED and at least 6 years of experience in promotions, marketing, retail, analytics, pricing, consumer packaged goods, insights, vendor collaboration, consumer research, inventory, category management and/or business analysis.
  • Master's degree OR MBA
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
