Job Summary

Most senior analyst level within Data Quality to review data monitoring reports and alert management of any data quality defect. May perform specific data analytics across the different Pharmacy (RxR) platforms to identify defects and to coordinate continuous data quality improvement efforts. Ensures data quality defects are corrected within set service level agreement (SLA) timeframes and management complex problems to resolution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, designs, and develops quality assessments on data elements and structures to document and evaluate integrity, completeness, quality, and appropriateness of formats, records and structures.
  • Configures and develops manual and/or automated methods, processes and procedures to test output or input based on data compliance, quality and use requirements as established by Data Quality Management.
  • Performs regular and ad hoc reviews, audits, and investigations of data activity and integrity; prepares reports and summaries of findings.
  • In adherance to Data Quality strategies, identifies and resolves complex data discrepancies across multiple RxR platforms
  • Lead the RxR master data quality dependency tracking and release readiness for data validation for each project release and for key dependent system releases. Drive release sign-off requirements and tracking
  • Provides regular updates to management on complex problems and resolutions
  • Lead efforts to create and enhance master data quality scorecards for RxP production

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in data analytics and/or Finance OR a high school diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in data analytics and/or Finance.
  • Knowledge of information management tools such as data cleansing, data profiling, meta data management, master data/CDI, data modeling, business intelligence
  • Experience with analyzing and resolving data issues, trends, or exceptions including data conformity, data governance, or data sensitivity aspects.
  • Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced coding languages (e.g. SAS, SQL, C++, etc.).
  • Experience with system administration (e.g. PROS, Vendavo, Vistaar,, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools in support of data analytics (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, PROS, etc).
  • Experience with learn coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
  • Experience with working with pharmacy data at a retail pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Benefit Manager, benefit consultancy, or managed care company.
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Knowledge of systems such as Remedy and GIS.
  • Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, and data warehouse management.
  • Experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence/decision support systems environment or IT experience.
