Job Summary

As a Sr. Manager MarTech and CDP Data Integration, this role helps facilitate the growth of an emerging MarTech group within WBA. Creates solutions from sprawling data sets and converts findings into strategic opportunities. The Senior MarTech and CDP Data Integrations Manager will be counted upon to work closely with business partners of Brand and Marketing Strategy to support and implement high-quality data-driven decisions. Utilizes statistical techniques to solve real world problems, interpret key findings and ensure that data accuracy and consistent reporting are achieved by implementing optimal process for analytics employees to follow. This candidate must be a strong leader, motivator, collaborator, and a strategic thinker.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads data integrations for marketing projects using enterprise approved standards and patterns working collaboratively with centralized teams like integrations center of excellence to lay the foundation and activate omni-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Provides insights on marketing campaign performance to drive campaign efficiency and growth by consolidating tracking, broadcasted, internal and external 3rd party data feeds.
  • Understands short and long-term goals and objectives. Creates solutions from sprawling data sets and translates findings into strategic action plans.
  • Utilizes statistical techniques, interprets key findings and ensures that data accuracy and consistent reporting are achieved by implementing optimal process for analytics employees to follow.
  • Ensures accuracy of sourcing data and deliverables by implementing comprehensive policies and processes.
  • Tracks results of solutions provided to the business and shares the impact of these solutions on measured key performance indicators.
  • Proactively perpetuates the culture, work appropriately across departments and across offices to accomplish corporate objectives and priorities.
  • Responsible for executing on functional and business goals. Anticipates process-centric, people-centric, and operations-centric ideas, issues and opportunities to move the business forward.
  • Manages the vendor relationship including determining in scope and out of scope work, working through any interpretation of contract terms and monitoring/reviewing SLA adherence. Performs deep dive research on missed SLAs Partners with the vendor to drive continuous improvement resulting in improved service and/or lower cost.
  • Ensures delivery against agreed upon SLAs and overall service delivery of operational activities. Reviews and approves any request prioritizations.
  • Leads, develops and mentors junior team members. Manages resources appropriately, including but not limited to staffing, workloads and budget.
  • Manages budget to plan and is responsible for meeting/delivering against budgetary goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, data pipeline operations for batch and real time data sourcing and/or digital marketing/customer data
  • Experience tracking, measuring, and reporting on results of marketing functions to determine ROI
  • Experience with data engineering and integration tools/applications, such as R, Hadoop, Python etc.
  • Experience with vendor and vendor contract management, including SLA review.
  • Knowledge of data hosting techniques and databases, such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, MongoDB etc.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with querying languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig, Spark etc.
  • At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial business decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, etc.
  • Cloud computing experience, such as AZURE, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Experience meeting results oriented deadlines
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Docker containers, Azure functions, etc.
  • Experience in data segmentation and reporting within a CRM and Marketing Automation system
