Job Summary

Leads and manages the aggregation developed of software engineering code for release staging and preparation. Manages relationships and coordinates work between different teams at different locations. Drives the resolution of impediments, risks, help ensure value delivery and help drive continuous improvement. Communicates release details and schedules. Participates in the Agile transformation, coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in the new processes and mindsets. Maintains the release schedule. Works closely with engineering, product, and technical program management teams to ensure tight release planning visibility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identifies and understands to impacts of change to both Business and IT.
  • Confirms Impact, Risk, timing, testing, install, and validation plans, resources, communications, and the Stakeholders’ readiness for Change.
  • Drives a change from conception to end, making sure it is performed correctly & within the agreed upon scheduled window.
  • Works closely with DevOps engineers to develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
  • Ensures changes follow documented standards and guidelines.
  • Participates in planning events to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.
  • Measures and monitors progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of Software Engineering and/or Release Management experience OR High School/ GED and at least 4 years of Software Engineering and/or Release Management experience
  • Experience working with blended onshore and offshore teams
  • Experience working with highly sensitive data (e.g. patient data) and have knowledge and experience of appropriate security to be applied to this type of data
  • Experience with Agile Scrum and KANBAN frameworks
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with tightly integrated deployment automation developed with partner engineering teams
  • Experience working in a multi-stream front end and back end agile team environment
  • Experience working with combined and/or toggled releases
  • Experience delivering across multiple value streams
  • Experience working as a Program Manager, Scrum Master or Agile Coach
