Space Planner (General Engineer) - Military veterans preferred

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Perform engineering design, project management and inspection services as assigned at Malmstrom Air Force Base (MAFB), Montana.

- Provide "on-site" technical and administrative services, in accordance with this PWS, to support the MAFB CES mission throughout the 341st Missile Wing (MW), both on base and in the missile field.

- Provide technical engineering design and construction management services in support of Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Professional knowledge of engineering/planning concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques to effectively apply theories, principles, and concepts to installation facility space management, planning, and optimization programs.

- Ability to plan, organize, and lead others in studies, designs, and construction projects, record and manage the processes and documentation, and to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations, where proposals involve substantial resources and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures.

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.

- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout the missile field on both paved and gravel roads.

- Must be able to obtain SECRET clearance or have active SECRET clearance
