SUMMARY: Provide Heating Solutions sales support to all Brady Associates; prepare proposals and quotations as needed to support Bradys direct and indirect sales teams. Responsible for developing and maintaining a customer base sufficient to meet assigned equipment market share and sales volume goals of the Heating Solutions SBU. Increases revenues by developing relationships, following-up on sales leads, generating quotes and obtaining orders from customers.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains product and system technical knowledge by studying pertinent information as it becomes available, or when research is required to address a particular situation.
Develops and implements customer account sales plans for direct and indirect accounts (owners direct, installing contractors and design build engineering firms).
Generates sales and commissions by prospecting for opportunities, building relationships, serving customer needs, and professional performance of business processes.
Serves customers by answering inquires and responding to special requests.
Keeps current with all applicable boiler manufacturers products and offerings
Be knowledgeable with the heating products and services offered by Brady and become effective in the sales of those products and services.
Maintains competitive advantage by learning about competitors activity and reporting to management.
Responds to customer needs by identifying needs, generating quotes and closing orders.
Utilize Salesforce CRM to maintains records of all customer interactions, opportunities, sales funnel, customer information and performance and any other information as deemed necessary by Brady management to properly manage all account activitys.
Increases effectiveness by utilizing inside support advantageously.
Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action and communicating with customers and staff as needed.
Communicates customer perceptions by gathering customer feedback and sharing information with management.
Brings value to owners, engineers, contractors, and other customers by suggesting better solutions.
Works closely as a team member with other parts of the business.
Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight travel.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and patient manner
Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
Immediately address any customers concern and requests the involvement of other Company personnel as required

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years equipment sales experience; or equivalent combination of industrial boiler room and equipment sales experience.



COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft office programs, general familiarity with computer systems, and ability to learn software applications as required.



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Drivers License, Proof of personal insurance



LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with complex mathematical concepts commensurate with the requirements for an engineering degree. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to practical situations.



REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, identify possibilities, and arrive at solutions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to practical situations, and to interpret technical instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving abstract and concrete variables in a wide range of situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, and telephone and effectively communicate with others. This position works in a typical office environment with occasional visits to job sites which include outdoor work and work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the job site visits, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
