DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
The Logistics Clerk will be a part of an internal Team supporting the management of Materials being transferred, received and/or issued through the Material Stockroom.
Will have their own dedicated Desk and Work Area location for receiving and managing Material Receipts.
Will be trained to be proficient in working resolutions to Product Receipts & Inductions and the associated SAP Transaction Codes relating to Receipts, Storage, Pulls, Kitting and Issuance to Customer.
Coordinates the organization's daily logistical receiving operations of Customer Materials & Receipts.
Works with Production Planners and internal Government Property Specialists to assure Locations and Quantities of Materials are received, inducted to record, accurately maintained via cycle counts, kitted and issued as required.
Tasks include verifying the alignment of Receiving Documentation of incoming Customer Aerospace Avionics Material induction processes as required to Customer Standards.
Performs Electronic Receiving functions within SAP to a well defined and structured set of instructions.
Will have immediate support and training to SAP electronic transactions for assured accuracy.
Acts as liaison between production line planners, workflow coaches, freight carriers (Upon Receipt) and the internal receiving dock area.
Ensures on-time receipt/induction of Avionic Equipment from Customers.
Will work with Property Team by investigating and resolving any receiving issues and the development of continuous improvements.
Must be familiar with Logistical Process of Handling and Receiving Customer items.
Experience in Inventory Management and Receiving associated with Government & Customer owned units is a Plus.
Maintains related records associated with receipts, movements and Issuance of Materials.
Performs visual inspection of Materials, Packaging and Shipment documentation upon receipt for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to Shipping and Physical conditions.
Ability to support receiving schedules and support requirements to meet customer satisfaction.
Works within broad Program and Department, guidelines and policies that impact a range of customer, operational, project and service activities within their own team and other related customer teams.
Takes ownership for the accuracy of receiving records and information with a high level of attention to detail.
Must be able to work proactively in a Team Environment.
Follow KBR Performance Excellence (KPEX) requirements, including the support of Voice of the Customer solicitations and follow-up on continuous improvement initiatives.
Must adhere to KBRs Zero Harm Safety Measures of Total Safety Technical Instructions (TSTI) for Safety Adherence of Operational and Equipment usage.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma or Equivalent and typically 2 years of directly related work experience
Must be Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products, e.g., Word, Excel and Power Point.
SAP with Material Movement Transaction knowledge is required.
Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
