ManTech is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our SOCOM team supporting our growing Marine Corps programs.

This part time position does not require a security clearance and is for 30 hours per week.

Job Description:

  • Managing front desk operations (i.e., answering multiple phone lines and transferring calls; greeting visitors; performing check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with Security protocols).
  • Maintaining schedules, appointments, meetings, and calendar in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Communicating and coordinating with retired Ambassadors, Dignitaries, General Officers, and Subject Matter Experts to assist with scheduling, travel, and expense reporting, 
  • Maintaining a database of key leaders, guest instructors, and subject matter experts to help manage complex operational support
  • Preparing weekly snapshot of ManTech travel, meetings, and upcoming events.
  • Writing meeting minutes.
    • Write weekly staff call minutes, lessons learned, and after action reviews for the Program Manager to distribute to key leaders and preparation for Scientific and Technical Information (STI) input in data repository.
  • Entering data into records management system and databases.
    • Submitting procurement requests to register employees for training and conferences.
    • Assisting with travel authorization requests
    • Assisting with expense reporting
  • Preparing and composing correspondences, reports, etc.
  • Proofreading and editing internal and external communication and correspondence.
  • Coordinating and preparing accurate travel authorizations and reimbursements.
  • Coordinating routing of documents that require Government signatures.
  • Organizing, coordinating, and providing assistance with conferences, meetings, workshops, seminars, training and other events.
  • Use mail merge function in Word to create labels, badges, and table tents.
  • Maintaining and using ManTech purchase card, and reconcile all accounts.
  • Submitting procurement requests to support training and operations.
  • Maintaining, gathering, and analyzing data for various purposes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of administrative experience performing administrative and office support for multiple persons.
  • High School Diploma


Physical requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
