Equipment Maintenance Manager - Military veterans preferred

Reports to and receives assignments from Site Management, receives and complies with the operational requirements, instructions and guidance's provided by OSO Senior Manager, Equipment Maintenance for all contract technical requirements. Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for setting the goals and monitoring the performance of the team and its members. Ensures efforts are directed towards process improvements, develops procedures and policies for assigned areas, and maintains compliance to safety policies and procedures. Equipment Maintenance Manager manages, supervises, organizes, and coordinates all activities associated with Equipment Maintenance Department.

This position is responsible for ensuring that the work of the Equipment Maintenance Department is performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner. The Equipment Maintenance Manager implements and or maintains processes and measures to ensure the accuracy of the data input, ensures efforts are directed towards process improvements, enforces procedures and policies for assigned areas, and maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures. Plans work and administers policies.

This position coordinates acquisition, transfer / delivery, retirement and final disposition of assigned equipment through the property office and the GPA (Government Property Administrator) office. The Equipment Maintenance Manager ensures that all shop tools and equipment are organized and secured and in compliance with TMDE requirements, all required parts/materials are identified, ordered, and inventoried in accordance with guidelines provided in KBR PMSP and Equipment Maintenance Work Instruction (WI). The Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for good cost under his or her influence and primary quality control for all the work performed within the Field Maintenance Department. Performs inspections as required by the company and or government. Promotes safety and quality and complies with all applicable safety (HSE plan) quality (QCP plan) and army regulations and KBR contractual requirements. The Equipment Maintenance Manager must complete the proper paperwork as assigned in a timely manner, requires both shop and field work. The Equipment Maintenance Manager will ensure that Field Maintenance staff are organized and scheduled to respond to all calls and meet response times as outlined in contract documents. Trains new employees and further develops the skills of all subordinate employees. Coaches, counsels, and administers verbal and written disciplinary actions when appropriate. This position requires technical expertise in automated logistical systems such as: GCSS-A, LIW and other maintenance management systems. Submits to Site Management and OSO both written and or verbal maintenance status reports as required. Ensures total customer service while complying with contract and PWS.

Additional requirements:

Ten (10) years of experience working on U.S. military tactical vehicles.
In-depth knowledge of diagnostic software MSD, JPRO and other electronic service tool program.
Ability to interpret and apply manufacturer repair manuals, technical specifications, schematic drawings.
Must be fluent in English (speak, read and write)
Must possess a valid passport with at least 12 months of remaining validity and with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
Requires NAC-I
Preferred qualifications and skill:

Candidates with MRAP-U certification.
Candidates with 40hrs HAZWOPER OSHA certification.
Candidates with technician certification or work experience with RTCH's (KALMAR RT-240).
Candidates with knowledge of US military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards.
