Job Responsibilities:

- Protect client's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Record accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report incidents in detail
- Patrol properties (on foot and by way of security vehicle)
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle/property gates
- Survey alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
- Perform first aid or CPR

Desired Qualifications/Requirements:

- Work experience as a Security Specialist or relevant position
- Trained Security Specialist with diploma (Blue Card for Armed Security) *preferred*
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Proficient knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable form of transportation
