Senior Network Engineer - Military veterans preferred

PRD has an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer on Ford Island in Oahu, Hawaii to support the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) program to design local and wide area network infrastructure, as well as install and configure network hardware switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Designs local and wide area network infrastructure
Installs and configures network hardware switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
Identifies and implements network security measures
Supervises subordinate network engineers
Resolves escalated network support issues and service tickets
Creates network diagrams and status reports
Oversees the inside cable plant infrastructure (fiber and copper)
Supports data center and communication room equipment management
Oversees life cycle management of network infrastructure
Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors and (9) nine years or more experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Experience in a DoD network environment
Experience and current knowledge of network infrastructure hardware, such as: switches, firewalls, routers etc.
Experience implementing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
Knowledge and experience implementing network security architecture (PKI certificates, access/multi-factor authentication)
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

Must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA, CySA+, etc)
Must have at least one of the following Network Certifications; Cisco, Aruba, or Palo Alto
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
Must be a current US Citizen
