Managment Analyst- Submarine Certifications - Military veterans preferred

Duties:

- Assist the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Submarine In-Service Program Office with certification events for submarines completing CNO maintenance availabilities to ensure that the material condition of the ship is satisfactory for the safe conduct of trials and operation.

- Coordinate the filing, storage, and destruction of Submarine In-Service Program Office ship certification records, CNO Maintenance Availability Planning and Authorization letters, and other correspondence.

- Manage the processing, routing, and filing of all Departures From Specifications (DFSs) for supported Program Office.

- Provide support in technical planning, cost, schedule, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analysis for total systems; analyses performed at concept, design, test, evaluation, and operational phases

- Review and develop analytical and technical input needed to evaluate documentation and development of briefs to ensure accurate, timely and essential information is proved to decision makers

- Support the preparation, execution, minutes capturing, and tracking of follow-on actions for Program Office meetings and events.

- Support the preparation, coordination, and distribution of Program Office reports and correspondence.

- Support the development and tracking of metrics.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or five years of work experience in a related field is required.

- Active Secret clearance is required.

- NAVSEA/Naval Shipyard experience is required.

- Familiarity with ship/submarine maintenance availability material control and work processes is a must.

- Extensive knowledge of Navy special emphasis program requirements (SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC and Fly-By-Wire) is highly desired.

- Submarine experience is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, customers, suppliers, and visitors.
Must be highly reliable and demonstrate personal initiative to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
