The position: We are looking for a Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot production problems such as PLC errors, AGV malfunctioning and production software issues.
Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment including simple mechanical repairs and the assistance of complex technical repairs.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all production and maintenance spare parts and provide management with reasonable advice on a replacement schedule.
Respond quickly in the event of a production emergency and assist plant management in the proper troubleshooting and resolving of the incident.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by strictly following all safety and production policies and procedures.
Ensure prompt and regular attendance following a schedule.
Qualifications
Experience of no less than 3 years as a mechanical or technical support function in a manufacturing environment (e.g. maintenance technician, equipment technician, etc.).
Certified electricians and mechanics preferred but not required.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel in particular.
Experience in operating a variety of production equipment and tools such as DC tools, PLC programming (Siemens) or assembly lines.
Skills & Personal characteristics
Technical and mechanical ability, preferably in the Automotive context.
Detailed and accurate way of work with great attention to detail and creative problem solving abilities.
Sense of responsibility and urgency in a multiple shift operation.
Ability to work the hours from 3pm to 11:30pm Monday to Friday.
