Primarily responsible for the monitoring, maintenance and improvement of the core network.
The Network Engineer will also be responsible for finding solutions, implementing network projects for businesses and providing support for customer networks onsite or using phone and e-mail.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assist customers in resolving networking issues, as the highest escalation point.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Ability to organize, design and implement networks from concept to application.
Maintenance and growth of Corporate Network.
Ensure 99.99% uptime of Core Cisco Network.
Manage configurations on switches and Routers.
Continuously monitor network bandwidth for anomalous traffic behavior.
Testing of new and existing network devices to improve network performance and stability.
Support NOC with networking issues.
Implementing all type of access lists on Cisco routers.
Provisioning of customer network services.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
1-2 years experience of managing and designing networks
Knowledge of implementing and configuring Routers and Switches.
Knowledge and experience in Routing and Switching Networks (TCP-IP, OSPF, BGP4, and VLAN's).
Experience with WAN technologies such as Metro Ethernet, MPLS, VPLS, T1, Private Line connections.
Must be a quick thinker and have the ability to work under pressure in creating access lists and re-routing traffic.
