Golf Equipment Technician - Military veterans preferred

We currently have an opening for a Golf Equipment Technician in our Berkeley, Missouri location.  The successful candidate will be an outstanding mechanic with above average diagnostic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical skills.  The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair equipment professionally, accurately, and timely.
• Install necessary parts, check fluid levels, test and assure proper operation.
• Conduct repairs so that units are in and out of the shop in a timely manner.
• Properly set up new equipment, including disposal of crating material.
• Work with service advisors to provide accurate and timely estimates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of shop area.
• Safely use forklift.
• Effectively work within a team to meet customer needs
• Safely and effectively use all service and repair tools
• MTI provides specialized tools specific to our products, however the successful candidate provides his/her own hand and power tools. 

 

Education and/or Experience

• Technical degree (2yr.) or equivalent experience required.
• Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in diagnosing problems with gas and diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Parts based lookup tools, Diagnostic Software 
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Strong customer service/communication skills.
