Senior Dev Sec Ops Engineer

The KBR team in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join us in supporting our great nation, specifically on the Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) HOPE contract.

Air Force TENCAP exploits National space, cyber and intelligence capabilities to deliver rapid, cost-dominant and innovative warfighting solutions across the full spectrum of Air Force and Joint military missions. AF TENCAP is a Congressionally mandated rapid acquisition organization supporting tactical and operational warfighters and serves as the Air Force executive agent for the Military Exploitation of Reconnaissance and Intelligence Technologies (MERIT) program. As the Air Force's leader for National-to-Tactical capability development, AF TENCAP collaborates with leading experts across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, National Laboratories, industry, inter-agency, academia, and partner nations.

We are looking for innovative, creative, and highly motivated individuals to support the strategic planning and tactical execution of IT resources. Specifically, the implementation and configuration of development environments, network infrastructure, and CI/CD architecture within a government enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for learning, the drive to innovate and a humble attitude. You will work cutting edge projects, solving problems that most aren't even aware exist.

Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO - 100% On Site

Security Clearance: Active Secret or Current Secret within last two years.

Required Experience and Education:BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience.

Required Skills:

Experience with automation tools (i.e. Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform)Git/GitLab/SVN experienceExperience with programming & scripting languages (i.e. Bash, Python, .Net, Java, C)Docker / KubernetesSecurity+Experience with Virtual Machines and Type 1 hypervisorsBackground using test suite management and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Bamboo or similar)DevSecOps

Desired Skills:

Experience as a formal instructor, teacher or tutorExperience in Space, ISR, Cyber or SOFExperience leading projects w/ up to 5 team membersKnowledge of SAFe agile processesLinux System AdministratorRisk Management Framework implementationSoftware development experience (i.e. C++, Java, C)Experience with IC, USSF, USAF or other DOD entitiesExperience working with any intelligence disciplines (i.e. SIGINT, OSINT, MASINT, GEOINT, HUMINT)

Basic Compensation: $132-198k

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity .

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions , or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance .
