The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic team of professionals in a growing Defence environment. As Project Manager, you will work to plan, organise, coordinate, and control engineering projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.

Your key responsibilities will include, managing and executing project plan and capability life cycle, strategy development with respect to facility acquisition, development and ongoing management whilst ensuring financial and performance accountability, and be the point of contact for all aspects related to stakeholder management – both internal and external.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • Considerable experience (7-10 years or more) in Project Management or similar roles within CASG/ADF or Defence Industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in project management or engineering.
  • Experience managing large Defence contracts across acquisition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive stakeholder management skills and experience with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in relating project/program advice to various business areas.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen with a current AGSVA NV1 security clearance (at a minimum).
