Sr. Test and Evaluation Lead

KBR has an opening for a senior T&E lead, responsible for leading the planning and execution of enterprise-level test strategies and events across multiple systems and life cycles. The primary customer for this work is the Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Combat Power / Battle Mgt Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Program Executive Officers (PEOs).

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure SSC systems, subsystems and applications are tested in compliance USSF, DoD, and intelligence instructions, directives, frameworks, and standards
  • Provide methodologies and develop test plans, test reports, product assessments, and testing procedures to provide accurate, objective, and impartial verification of system tests in support of developmental and operational T&E
  • Support the design and implementation of advanced or automated testing capabilities to accelerate delivery of system capabilities
  • Provide the SSC leads with accurate, objective, and impartial verification of the compliance status of systems, subsystems, and applications
  • Develop a Master Test Strategy that tracks and reports information such as test capacity, queues, priorities, completion status, performance statistics, and schedules
  • Continuously manage and optimize test methodologies and approaches to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience with coordinating, planning, and executing testing activities at an enterprise-level of testing across multiple systems and across systems life-cycles
  • 10 years’ experience with DoD or IC testing directives, frameworks, and standards
  • 10 years’ experience with developing test plans, executing tests, and supporting operational acceptance, to include automated testing tools, systems, scanning engines, and testing assessments.
  • Certified T&E Professional Practitioner Certification
  • Experience with USSF testing directives, frameworks, and standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills to include excellent customer interface and presentation skills

Education: Master’s Degree in Business, Math, Science or Engineering with 10+ Years of demonstrated technical project management experience


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Science or Engineering with 15+ Years of demonstrated experience.

Security Clearance Statement: Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The optimal candidate shall possess an active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, and be eligible to support Special Access Programs (SAP)

Travel: Periodic travel will be required between Los Angeles, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; and the National Capital Region (Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland).
