The opportunity:

Reporting to the Software Development Program Manager, the Senior Software Developer is responsible for developing high quality software in accordance with relevant standards, processes and contributing to all agile software development sprint events while assisting with system testing as part of the development process, including performance and unit testing.

In this position you will have responsibility of:

• Developing high quality software in accordance with relevant standards and processes
• Contributing to all agile software development sprint events
• Assisting with task decomposition and the estimation of work
• Assisting with system testing as part of the development process, including performance and unit testing
• Assisting with system documentation
• Representing Sigma Bravo in a professional manner and adhering to Sigma Bravo policies and practices as outlined in the Business Management System and Security documentation
• Other tasks as directed by Sigma Bravo management.

As the ideal candidate, you will bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• ASP.Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript
• Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Unit Testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisation / prioritisation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience with front-end web development, and the usage of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React.
• Azure DevOps (ADO/TFS)
• Git
• Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL including Stored Procedures
• Experience developing using an agile methodology (Agile/Scrum)
• Experience developing for Defence networks
