Senior Aviation Depot Requirements Analyst

Do you want to ensure your Navy and Marine Corps warfighter is successful and supported in the battlespace of tomorrow? Then join KBR as a Senior Aviation Depot Requirements Analyst to support the requirements and resourcing for the Navy and Marine Corps fleet. You will be supporting the Chief of Naval Operations Staff (OPNAV), Logistics & Readiness Branch (N980L) develop the annual budget for Aviation Fleet Readiness Center (FRC)/Depot Maintenance by conducting analyses and evaluation of aircraft, engine, and support equipment logistics planning.

This position will start in July 2023.

This senior analyst interacts with the whole Naval Air Enterprise (NAE), from the Pentagon staff to Combatant Commanders to Wings and Squadrons. We are looking for a candidate to focus on requirements and integration of the organic depot capability to minimize war fighting risk and maintaining superior capability against the global threat.

Specific tasks in support of N980L requirements/resourcing officers include:

  • Provide research, analysis, investigation, and evaluation of data in support of the annual Program Objectives Memorandum process
  • Liaison with N980L portfolio stakeholders and participate in meetings and working groups
  • Support development of planning and programming for portfolio budgets in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process
  • Provide staff support for the OPNAV Logistics & Readiness portfolio; review and recommend program changes or alignment with existing and evolving aviation plans and objectives

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 13-years’ experience that includes some combination of Naval Aviation maintenance management, staff experience (e.g., wing, battle group, fleet, combatant command), NAVAIR acquisition, or requirements development on the OPNAV staff
  • Familiarity with the interrelationship between flying hour program, depot maintenance, integrated logistics support, and material readiness.
  • Must have an active SECRET clearance at start
  • Knowledge and understanding of the PPBE and JCIDS processes
