Principal Account Representative, Business Development

POSITION SUMMARY:

In the role, you will be responsible for supporting and executing on core parts of the plastic recycling’s product line. Key aspects of the role include, providing Sr. Director of Plastic Recycling with support in in a variety of activities such as, business metrics/performance, tracking strategic initiatives, tracking product development /management, alliance management, BD support, data analysis, documentation support, market analysis, reporting on these aspects etc.

You will be expected to bring technical and commercial communication skills to interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders as well as third parties, champion unique insights into the business, provide timely and actionable intelligence to internal stakeholders, and manage and drive KBR internal processes across functions and regions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commercial Tracking: Working closely with Sr. Director, track key business performance metrics related to revenue, income, opportunity pipeline, overhead spend, earnings, etc.
  • Strategic Initiative Management and Tracking: Annually support strategic initiatives definition to further product development and work with Plastic Recycling team and others to progress and close initiatives.
  • Alliance Management: Support management of alliance relationship with technology partner
  • Market Analysis: Analyze core, adjacent, and new KBR markets for trends and identify the underlying factors that drive those trends. Identify gaps in information and offerings and develop recommend solutions and approaches to mitigate.
  • Business Development Support: helps analyze and prepare commercial material for executive's client meetings. Support the global sales organization in pursuit of license and engineering opportunities. Must have strong ability to consolidate information into an appropriate manner for delivery (e.g., presentations, technical papers). Close opportunities via client relationship development and contract negotiations.
  • Resource Analysis: Performs analysis of internal resources for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance: Maintains full compliance with KBR code of business conduct. Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines. Proactively directs continuous improvement efforts in the areas of risk reduction and the elimination of potential hazards.
  • Personal Characteristics: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Soft skills in facilitating, influencing and innovative problem solving are critical. Must display integrity and open attitude and comfortable interacting at the Senior Management level. Self-motivated with a desire to identifying strategic solutions to evolving challenges.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration on a global scale.
  • Proven performer with strong analytical skills. Demonstrated self-starter and independent thinker possessing strong organizational skills.
  • Domain Knowledge
  • 5+ years' experience in a technical role, technology licensing, and/or business operations in the hydrocarbon and energy industries. Experience in financial analysis and strategic marketing is a preferred.
  • Offerings Knowledge
  • Familiar with contract terms and negotiation process

Education:

  • B.S. in a technical discipline, MBA preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel ~30+% internationally, as required
