Flex Technology is currently in search of an Account Executive dedicated to cultivating new business accounts. Our Account Executives play a pivotal role in fueling business growth by promoting a diverse array of office solutions. These encompass high-speed digital copiers and printers, document management solutions, wide-format equipment, managed print solutions, and IT services.

Flex Technology Group caters to various industries, including Entertainment, Legal, Education, Manufacturing, and Healthcare. Our expertise lies in analytics, ranging from everyday paper-based expenses to the fundamental processes within organizations. We assist our clients in enhancing their current workflows and adopting optimal practices for Cost Containment, IT Services, and Document Management. The position offers a competitive starting salary of $60,000 per year, a monthly car allowance, and unlimited commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Securing New Clients: Achieve sales targets by closing deals with new clients.
  • Client Expansion: Develop and qualify new clients within the assigned territory through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
  • Market Insights: Gather and apply business intelligence about prospects to facilitate sales calls, product presentations, and new business development.
  • Solution Proposals: Evaluate customer needs, propose appropriate solutions, and negotiate contracts.
  • Client Relationships: Establish strong rapport and foster lasting client relationships.
  • Technology Utilization: Employ account information systems (CRM) and other internal sales/accounting tools.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understand and apply network applications related to our hardware and services.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of prior sales experience with printer/copiers is desirable.
  • Quota Management: Previous experience in managing sales to meet quotas.
  • Prospecting Skills: Proficiency in cold-calling, securing meetings with decision-makers, making persuasive presentations, and closing sales.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Driver's License: Must possess a current California Driver's License, vehicle, and auto insurance meeting CA state minimum requirements due to the driving responsibilities of this position.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
