We are actively hiring a Signals Analyst to join our Defense & Homeland Security Division on a newly awarded, 5-year contract based in the Fort Meade area. The FIRST of the Next Generation Analysis Contracts has been awarded. This multi-year contract needs you to fill positions as mathematicians, data scientists, engineers, collection managers and analysts. As a Signals Analyst, you will enjoy cutting-edge work across all facets of planning, conduct cyberspace operations, and perform traditional signals intelligence support as required.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deep technical understanding of signal characteristics.
  • Analyze signals in digital domains to determine structure, parameters, content, and purpose.
  • Create processing models and scripts and reports technical characteristics.
  • Maintain knowledge bases and supports access and follow-on analytic activities.


     REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Experience must be in signals analysis (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT and/or PROFORMA) and/or design and engineering of aerospace, communications, electronic or industrial systems.
  • Signals analysis, preferably related to communications signals (e.g., bitstream analysis, waveform analysis, protocol analysis)
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Network traffic characterization and/or Network security analysis
  • Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field.
  • Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field. A broader range of degrees will be considered for those who have completed a relevant training program listed above (e.g., 9141, 1N2A, 451/461, 452 or MCSAP/MESAP/MOSAP)
  • BS and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience
In lieu of degree, must have completed military training such as: Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst Course (9141 NEC, 1N2A AFSC); Intermediate Signals Analysis Course (451), Advanced Signals Analysis Course (452), or have participated in or graduated from: Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP), Military ELINT Signals Analysis Program (MESEP), Military OpELINT Signals Analysis Program (MOSAP)
