Job description
Our client has been a leading provider of data, voice, and security products and services in Coastal Virginia for 35 years. They have a team of best in the business professionals and this is a rare opportunity to join the team!
Job Description:
Install, program and maintain Security and Access Control systems for commercial customers. Duties include programing panels, installing electronic door locks, surveillance cameras, intrusion alarms, keypads. etc.
Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years direct experience and be DCJS registered, and have a general knowledge of low voltage systems. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with blueprints and wiring diagrams is also required. Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 30lbs. Knowledge of data and voice networks a plus.
Opportunities to expand knowledge into telecommunications and security equipment installation.
Driver's license required with clean driving record.
Some overtime required as well as occasional weekends and evenings.
References required.
